An international team of scholars was pleased to announce receipt of a grant from the National Science Foundation (HRD-1836685) to run a conference entitled: Faculty and Staff Sexual Misconduct: An International Conference to Identify Barriers, Develop Resources and Recommendations, and Build Community. This conference brought together international scholars and advocates in order to share knowledge and formulate solutions for addressing power-based faculty and staff sexual misconduct. The conference was held June 30 through July 2, 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. We were excited to engage in important conversations to help overcome barriers and share good practice. We look forward to continue developing a network for dealing with this endemic issue in academia.
